Modern
society is a great wake up call
Living
Hell is designing a world that does not care for all life.
Mainstream, Conventional choices are perfect examples of what not to do:
Toxic agriculture farming systems:
poison farm workers, and consumers, deplete top soil, poison the earth
for future
generations and have no concern for the true cost of this destruction.
Transportation of all this toxic food wastes energy.
This method of farming feeds profits of large corporations, but it does
not
nourish our bodies' true needs.
Toxic
household cleaners:
account
for 20% of the pollution in Los Angeles.
Yes, the cleaners under everyone's kitchen sinks. The toxins have an
accumulative effect on humans and all animals and the earth as they
are produced
and used in "safe levels."
Who
started this idea of SAFE LEVELS of poison?
Fuel
cars:
Most
of our cities are designed for the cars to enjoy their freedom.
What about people connecting and moving safely and freely and connecting
with other people? Among other things….
Grid
neighborhoods: More division.
Energy
sources:
We
know all about more efficient methods in solar, wind and
hydropower, than coal and oil. When will our government support these
healthier
choices?
Houses
= Toxic boxes:
Conventional
construction, the permitted building methods are
toxic, wasteful of resources, and conducive to rot, termites and fire.
Waste:
There
is no such thing in nature. Every kind of waste in nature is
nutrients for some other life form.
Flushing
water/toilets:
Where
would we be without water? How can we treat it so
wastefully? Compost toilets make great soil, can be odor-free and help
protect our oceans from raw sewage.
