Being creative gives me peace.
As an artist, I feel responsible to be awake and aware, and to share.
The seed for KLARITY was sown in 1969, when I was singing Beatles' songs to an empty couch. I was all by myself at 5-years-old. I had a vision of peace, an expansive feeling of unconditional love, and the world outside my door and behind the closed doors of my family did not always align with that vision. I have felt lead to know that place within and without ever since.
Creating all kinds of art gave my passionate energy & vision someplace to play.
I had fun sewing pillows & quilts, making clothes, embroidering, painting murals, drawing, knitting, crocheting, doing macrame, needlepoint, ceramics, watercolors, writing in journals, writing poems & songs, learning guitar, singing & taking voice lessons.
KLARITY sprouted in 1984 with a circle of friends around our dining table weaving wish bracelets. Beads & string Wish Bracelets evolved into Stone Tapestry jewelry in 1999 when I discovered gemstones, leather & sterling silver.
KLARITY Stone Tapestry fans now span from Santa Barbara to Australia,
The Seychelles to Egypt, and beyond, including Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Tracey Ullman, & Joely Fisher.
